Anthony De Yurre
Anthony De Yurre is a commercial litigation attorney at Pathman Lewis, LLP, who specializes in complex commercial litigation, business litigation and real estate litigation. Mr. De Yurre has represented clients in state and federal litigation matters concerning business torts, professional liability, trade secrets, construction law, fraud, distressed assets, post-judgment execution and jurisdictional disputes.
Mr. De Yurre also has hands-on business experience that assists him in better recognizing the business goals of his clients. Mr. De Yurre founded and directed a distributor and manufacturer in the automotive industry that was listed by Inc. Magazine in 2007 as one of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the U.S.A.
Mr. De Yurre earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Real Property Development and Finance from the University of Miami concentrating in real estate litigation matters, including distressed assets, lender liability and construction law.
Mr. De Yurre has been honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation “40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers in Miami-Dade County”. He serves as the President of the South Florida Duke University Alumni Association and as a member of the United Way Leadership Committee. He is also a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association and the Cuban American Bar Association.
Additionally, Mr. De Yurre is a board member of the Risk Management Association of Miami-Dade (RMA), a leading banking and financial services industry association. As a member of the RMA board Mr. De Yurre provides guidance and assistance to members facing the challenges of an ever changing financial legal landscape.
Mr. De Yurre is admitted to practice in Florida; United States District Court, Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida; and, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. De Yurre is a Florida native and is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
